REFERENCESI have been a collector of practically anything to do with Cardiff for the past 15 years. Books, videos, DVD's, postcards, photographic journals, directories and newspapers have all been used to collate the images and information on this site. Cardiff is blessed with two millennia of rich, diverse history, and authors such as John May, Dennis Morgan, Peter Finch and Brian Lee, have all worked tirelessly to produce the photographic and factual compendiums, that help us identify with and look back on the way Cardiffians lived in bygone days. Because I am not able to attribute credits for every photo and fact on this site, I have created this page in addition to the separate references throughout the site. this page will serve as a general reference guide to those publications that have been instrumental in the development of my personal knowledge, and subsequent creation of this site. My research material includes documents and images which are very rare which are no longer for sale or in print. These books and images can usually be found on eBay, or specialist shops such as Stella & Rose's Books. Car boot sales, antique shops and auctions also good places to start building your own collection. I will add the rarer items as the page develops.
